With afterburners blazing against an angry Cotswold sky The Ukrainian SU27 Flanker leaves the runway to begin its display routine. Sadly just a few years after this picture was taken the pilot of this aircraft lost his life in air combat against invading Russian forces. A true hero of his country. Blue skies sir.
