The mission is briefed and the crew are ready. Soon the mighty fin will blast off into the darkness with its twin afterburners aflame.
Once the mainstay of the UK bomber force this GR1 is now enjoying a quieter life at Cosford as one of many instructional airframes. Despite its flying days being over it still provides a valuable service to the technicians of tomorrow.
